Kia's three-row flagship and the shared-platform sibling of the Hyundai Palisade. Designed at Kia Design Center America, built at West Point, Georgia. Single powertrain: 3.8L Lambda II Atkinson V6 (291 hp) with an 8-speed automatic. AWD optional with multi-terrain drive modes. Eight-passenger standard, seven with optional captain's chairs. SX trim and X-Pro/X-Line packages are the enthusiast picks. 2023 facelift restyled the front, dropped the EX trim.

Watch out: REAL ISSUE: 2020-2022 Tellurides are included in the same tow-hitch wiring fire recall as the Palisade (NHTSA campaign 23V-651). Verify remedy has been performed. Some early-build cars had piston-slap noise complaints in cold-start that Kia addressed under warranty.
