Kia Soul SK3 (3rd Generation)

2020–2025 · SK3 · hatchback

Third-gen Soul kept the boxy body but sharpened the lines and added LED light signatures. US lineup launched with the 2.0L Nu GDI (147 hp, CVT) and the 1.6L Gamma turbo (201 hp, 7-speed DCT). For 2023 the turbo was discontinued in the US, leaving only the 2.0L with a CVT. Production ended late 2025 as Kia exited the segment in North America. FWD only.

Watch out: REAL ISSUE: 2020-2022 Souls with the 2.0L Nu are part of Kia's anti-theft TIPM-style vulnerability that drove the wave of USB-cable thefts in major US cities. Aftermarket immobilizers and the dealer software update should both be applied. The pre-2023 1.6T DCT had hesitation complaints similar to other Hyundai-Kia DCT applications.
