Kia Sedona YP (3rd Generation, pre-Carnival rename)

Third-gen Sedona was Kia's last minivan to wear the Sedona name in the US before the 2022 Carnival rebrand. Single powertrain: 3.3L Lambda II GDI V6 (276 hp) with 6-speed (later 8-speed) automatic, FWD only. A 2018 facelift updated the front and refreshed the cabin. SXL trim added Nappa leather and quilted seats. Discontinued after 2021.

Watch out: REAL ISSUE: 2015-2018 Sedonas had a brake transmission shift interlock recall (BTSI) and a wiring harness recall for the sliding door power feed. The 3.3L Lambda V6 generally avoided the Theta family rod-bearing pattern but high-mileage cars show carbon buildup on intake valves typical of direct-injection V6s. VIN check before purchase.
