Kia Forte BD (3rd Generation)

Third-gen Forte adopted a cab-rearward fastback profile borrowed from the Stinger and the Optima/K5. US lineup: 2.0L Nu MPI (147 hp) with CVT or 6-speed manual, and the 1.6L Gamma turbo (201 hp) with 7-speed DCT on the Forte GT from 2020. Manual transmission was discontinued after 2020. A 2022 facelift restyled the front and rear. Sedan only in the US; the hatchback was not offered.

Watch out: REAL ISSUE: 2019-2021 Forte sedans equipped with the 2.0L Nu are included in Kia's TIPM-style anti-theft vulnerability that drove the USB-thefts wave. Aftermarket immobilizer plus dealer software update should both be applied. The 2.0L Nu also appears in the broader knock sensor detection software service campaigns. VIN check before purchase.
