The first Jeep produced exclusively outside North America — built at FCA's SATA Plant in Melfi, Italy on the FCA Small Wide 4x4 platform shared with the Fiat 500X. US-market engines: 1.4L MultiAir turbo I4 (160hp, manual only), 2.4L Tigershark I4 (180hp), and the 1.3L GSE turbo I4 in the 4xe plug-in hybrid (Europe-led). Trailhawk trim adds Active Drive Low 4WD and a 20:1 crawl ratio. Discontinued in the US after 2023; production continues globally.

Watch out: 9-speed ZF 9HP transmission shudder on early 2015-2017 cars — same launch-era issues as the Cherokee KL and Compass MP. The 2.4L Tigershark has the same oil-consumption pattern documented on the Compass. The 1.4L MultiAir turbo's MultiAir actuator unit is also a known failure point — leaky oil into the actuator triggers misfire codes.
