Trailhawk trim brings Active Drive Low 4WD with a 20:1 crawl ratio — the most genuinely off-roadable Compass ever. Built in Toluca, Mexico for North America.

Watch out: 9-speed ZF 9HP transmission shudder on 2017-2018 cars — same launch-era issues as the Cherokee KL. The 2.4L Tigershark also has documented oil-consumption complaints, with some owners burning a quart every 1,000 miles before warranty intervention. 2022+ 2.0L turbo cars are too new for a definitive durability verdict.
