Second-generation QX60. 3.5L VQ35DD V6 (~295hp, direct-injection). 9-speed automatic, the CVT is gone, replacing it with the ZF-licensed 9-speed used in the Pathfinder R53. FWD or Intelligent AWD. Three-row, six- or seven-passenger. Sister vehicle to the Pathfinder R53 with luxury interior trim and Infiniti styling. Refreshed cabin, better sound deadening, and a quieter highway ride than the outgoing L50.

Watch out: 9-speed automatic shares the JR913E family used elsewhere in the Nissan group; early reports include some harsh low-speed shifting and occasional valve-body warranty replacements. Otherwise too new for a developed long-term failure pattern.
