Seventh-gen Sonata pulled the styling back toward mainstream after the YF's coupe-like roof. US lineup carried the 2.4L Theta II GDI (185 hp), the 2.0L Theta II turbo (245 hp), a 1.6L Gamma turbo (178 hp) on Eco, and the Sonata Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid. A 2018 facelift restyled the front and refreshed the interior. Built in Montgomery, Alabama.
