Honda Passport 2nd Generation (Revival)

Honda revived the Passport nameplate for 2019 as a two-row, five-passenger crossover built on the 3rd-gen Pilot platform but with a shorter wheelbase. J35Y6 3.5L V6 with VCM, 9-speed automatic, i-VTM4 AWD on most trims. Slots between the CR-V and Pilot. TrailSport trim added 2022 with off-road styling but a modest mechanical upgrade. Built in Lincoln, Alabama. A full redesign on a new platform arrived for 2026.

Watch out: Shares the 3rd-gen Pilot's VCM oil-consumption profile and early-9-speed shift-quality complaints. The TrailSport trim's promised off-road hardware is mostly cosmetic on the 2022-2025 cars; the 2026 redesign added genuine off-road capability.
