Honda Fit 3rd Generation

2015–2020 · GK · hatchback

The GK Fit launched for the 2015 model year with the L15B1 direct-injected 1.5L i-VTEC making 130hp, paired with a 6-speed manual or CVT. Built in Celaya, Mexico for the North American market on early cars (later moved to Japan). Magic Seat carried over. The final generation of the Fit sold in North America; Honda withdrew the nameplate after 2020 citing declining sales.

Watch out: Early 2015 cars had a recall for CVT transmission software causing rough shifts. The L15B1's direct injection means carbon buildup on intake valves is a long-term consideration, the standard DI engine pattern. Production moved between Mexico and Japan during the generation, which is worth checking on a used purchase.
