Honda Fit 2nd Generation

The GE-chassis Fit launched in the US for the 2009 model year (the 2nd-gen global Fit was the first sold in North America). L15A7 1.5L i-VTEC made 117hp, paired with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic. Magic Seat folds let the rear bench tumble forward or the cushions flip up for a tall cargo area. Sport trim added 16-inch wheels and paddle shifters on the auto. Manufactured in Japan throughout this generation.

Watch out: Cracking dashboard plastic in hot-climate cars is the cosmetic complaint most owners flag. Mechanically the L15A7 is highly durable; check for valve adjustment service history given the manual-adjust valvetrain.
