Honda Accord 6th Generation

1998–2002 · CG · sedan

Sixth-gen Accord ran model years 1998 through 2002, sold in the US as a sedan and coupe. I4 trims (LX, EX, SE) used the F23 2.3L SOHC VTEC. V6 trims used the J30 3.0L SOHC VTEC rated at 200 hp, sourced from the Acura 3.0 CL. The platform also underpinned the 1st-gen Acura TL (UA4/UA5). The CG chassis code applies broadly to the North American sedan and coupe.
