Genesis GV80 JX1 (1st Generation)

Genesis's first SUV and the first vehicle to wear the production Two-Lines lighting signature. Built on the M3 rear-drive platform with aluminum doors, hood, and tailgate for weight reduction. US lineup: 2.5L Smartstream turbo I4 (304 hp) and 3.5L Smartstream twin-turbo V6 (375 hp). Five-, six-, and seven-seat configurations. The GV80 Coupe (more rakish roofline) joined the lineup for 2025. AWD standard on the V6; optional on the I4.

Watch out: Smartstream V6 is post-Theta family and has not been pulled into the catastrophic recall pattern. Early-build 2021 cars had some 14.5-inch infotainment screen lockup complaints addressed via OTA. The three-row seven-seat layout has cramped third-row legroom by class standards; test-fit before committing.
