Shares the WK/WK2 unibody platform with the Jeep Grand Cherokee — assembled at Jefferson North in Detroit. Engines: 3.6L Pentastar V6 (290hp), 5.7L HEMI V8 (360hp), 6.4L 392 HEMI (475hp in SRT 392), and the 6.2L supercharged Hellcat HEMI (710hp) for limited 2021 and 2023-2024 runs. Has outlived the Grand Cherokee WK2 — Durango stayed on the old platform while Jeep moved to the WL.

Watch out: Same HEMI MDS lifter failure as every other 5.7/6.4 HEMI Stellantis vehicle — driver-side bank lifters collapse, often wiping the camshaft. ZF 8HP transmission shifts can also get clunky once mileage climbs; fluid service is overdue from the factory schedule on most owner cars.
