Chevrolet HHR Single Generation
2006–2011 · Delta / GMT001 · wagon
Single-generation retro-styled compact wagon on GM's Delta / GMT001 platform (shared with Chevy Cobalt, Pontiac G5, Saturn Ion). 2.2L LE5 / L61 Ecotec I4 (143-149 hp), 2.4L LE5 / LAT (172-175 hp), and the 2.0L LNF turbo Ecotec in the 2008-2010 HHR SS (260 hp, 5-speed manual). SS panel-van variant also offered.
Watch out: Power-steering failure was a major recall issue (NHTSA 14V-153, ~1.3M GM Delta-platform vehicles). 2.4L Ecotec excessive oil consumption applies here too — same family as the Equinox 2.4L problem.
