Chevrolet Equinox 3rd Generation
2018–2024 · D2XX · suv
Third-generation Equinox on GM's D2XX platform (sibling to GMC Terrain). 1.5L LYX turbo I4 (170 hp, base), 2.0L LTG turbo I4 (252 hp, 2018-2019 only), 1.6L LH7 turbo-diesel (137 hp, 2018-2019 only). 6-speed automatic (1.5L), 9-speed (2.0L). V6 dropped entirely.
Watch out: 1.5L LYX turbo-four valve-seat recession and excessive oil consumption are the recurring complaints, plus 9-speed automatic shudder on early 2.0L builds. The 2018-2019 1.6L diesel had emissions-system reliability issues.
