Chevrolet Camaro 5th Generation

20102015 · Zeta (GMX521) · coupe

Built on GM's Zeta platform (shared with Pontiac G8 / Holden Commodore). 3.6L V6 (312-323 hp), 6.2L LS3 V8 (manual SS, 426 hp), 6.2L L99 V8 (auto SS, 400 hp), 6.2L supercharged LSA V8 in the ZL1 (580 hp), and the track-only naturally-aspirated 7.0L LS7 V8 in the 2014-2015 Z/28.

Watch out: Heavy curb weight (~3,860 lb) and tight outward visibility hurt as a daily; LS3/L99 timing-chain stretch and AFM lifter wear on L99 V8s are the recurring mechanical complaints.
