BMW X3 F25 (2nd Generation)

Production moved to BMW's Spartanburg, SC plant — the F25 became an export from the US, not an import. N20 turbo-4 (xDrive28i) and N55 turbo-6 (xDrive35i) lineup. Optional diesel (xDrive28d, N47/B47) was the efficiency play. xDrive AWD standard from the factory.

Watch out: N20 timing chain stretch is the recurring big-ticket failure (60-80k miles on early cars). N55 is more reliable mechanically but shares the family electric water pump weakness. Eaton 8HP transmission needs a fluid service despite BMW's 'lifetime' branding.
