Performance variant of the Q5 8R. 3.0T supercharged V6 (CTUA / CGWD) — 354 hp / 347 lb-ft. 8-speed Tiptronic. Quattro AWD with sport-tuned suspension and steering. The US never got the SQ5 TDI (diesel) version sold in Europe — only the gas supercharged model.

Watch out: 3.0T supercharged: water pump (engine-out for proper service), supercharger snout bearing wear, intake-valve carbon. Timing chain tensioner concerns on neglected examples. Premium fuel and oil intervals don't stretch.
