Audi RS7 C7 (1st Generation)
2014–2018 · C7 · hatchback
4.0T biturbo V8 (CRDB / CWUC) — 560 hp at launch, 605 hp / 553 lb-ft in the RS7 Performance (2016-2018). 8-speed Tiptronic, Quattro AWD with sport differential. Five-door liftback body — practical and ferocious. The C7 RS7 is a cult-favorite used buy now.
Watch out: 4.0T V8: timing chain stretch on early cars, PCV diaphragm, cylinder-on-demand lifter wear. Carbon ceramic brakes (optioned) cost replacement is exotic-tier. Magnetic ride dampers fail and aren't cheap. Premium fuel and 6,000-mile oil intervals — don't stretch them.
