First US RS3. DAZA 2.5L turbocharged inline-five — 400 hp / 354 lb-ft. 7-speed S tronic DSG. Quattro AWD with Haldex. Sedan only for the US. The five-cylinder firing order (1-2-4-5-3) is the signature — no other small sport sedan sounded like this. Direct competitor to the M2, AMG CLA 45, M-B A45 — and the only one with a 5-cyl.

Watch out: DAZA five-cylinder needs premium 5W-40 oil and shorter intervals than Audi's generous service guide suggests. Carbon buildup on intake valves around 60-80k miles. Haldex rear coupling fluid + filter service. PCV valve diaphragms tear (same EA888-era pattern). Highly tuneable — buy used with thorough service history and a mod inspection.
