Major weight reduction over the 4L. 2.0T TFSI in the base Q7 45 TFSI, 3.0T TFSI V6 (DCBC) in Q7 55 TFSI, 4.0T TFSI biturbo V8 in the SQ7 (500 hp from 2020+). Three-row seating standard. 2020 LCI brought MIB3 dual-touchscreen interior matching the A6 / A7 / A8.

Watch out: 3.0T TFSI (turbocharged V6): timing chain tensioner concerns on early cars (Audi extended warranty), carbon buildup on intakes. 4.0T V8 (SQ7): same timing chain stretch and PCV diaphragm patterns as S6/S7/RS7. MMI Touch dual-screen polish issues fixed via OTAs.
