Watch out: 2.0T (early): excessive oil consumption was the headline class-action issue (piston ring redesign mid-cycle fixed most cases). Timing chain tensioner failure on early Gen-2 2.0T cars — catastrophic if it lets go. 3.0T supercharged (SQ5): water pump failure and supercharger snout bearing wear.
