TL;DR Brand-new spray coating from Turtle Wax claiming 100-plus-wash lab durability. No community data exists yet; scores will update as owners test it. Application is designed to be streak-free with no high-spot risk. The bottle carries a Prop 65 reproductive-harm warning for Methanol; the safety data sheet was not publicly posted at launch, holding health at 3.0.
Pure Bead coats paint, glass, vinyl, PPF, plastics, and trim via spray and buff: wash, shake, apply 2 to 3 sprays per panel, wipe with a microfiber, then buff with a second cloth. Turtle Wax engineered it to resist high-spotting when overapplied, which is a genuine differentiator in this category if the claim holds. The 100-plus-wash lab figure awaits independent owner corroboration over months of real-world driving; no post-launch reviews existed at scoring time. The quality score of 4.6 reflects that absence, not a finding about the underlying chemistry.
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions loyalists comfortable buying before independent reviews accumulate are the right early adopters. Skip it for now if you need community-validated durability data or a posted SDS; the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating covers the same use case with an established owner track record.
The label carries a Prop 65 warning for reproductive harm from Methanol, a trace impurity in the isopropanol co-solvent. The label also notes an eye irritant caution. SDS-227-F10 was not publicly accessible at launch, so the health score of 3.0 is the no-SDS penalty, not a chemistry finding. Environment score of 6.0 is the conservative no-SDS default. Both scores will update once the SDS is on file.
Turtle Wax claims protection through 100-plus washes in lab testing, which would be class-leading if validated in real-world conditions. No independent owner durability data exists yet because the product launched in June 2026. The existing Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating, which uses similar Hybrid Solutions chemistry, is community-confirmed at 8 to 12 weeks on weekly-washed daily drivers. Expect Pure Bead to land in a comparable range until long-term reviews accumulate, and treat the 100-wash figure as a lab benchmark rather than a field-verified claim.
The manufacturer states Pure Bead works on gloss and matte paint, vinyl wraps, PPF, glass, plastics, metal, and trim. The brand also markets it for non-automotive surfaces including shower glass and boat surfaces. The label specifies not to apply it on surfaces where reduced traction would be a safety risk.
Turtle Wax explicitly states the product is safe for matte finishes. That said, matte paint is sensitive to any product that could alter sheen, and no independent matte-compatibility testing from the detailing community exists yet for this specific formula. Apply a small test area first and verify the finish looks unchanged before treating the whole vehicle.
Yes. The bottle label carries a California Proposition 65 warning for reproductive harm from Methanol, a trace impurity in the isopropanol co-solvent. The label also states the product is an eye irritant, and directs users to flush eyes with water for 15 minutes if contact occurs. The full safety data sheet (SDS-227-F10) had not been posted to public databases as of this review.
Wash and dry the vehicle first. Shake the bottle. Apply 2 to 3 sprays per panel and spread with a clean folded microfiber cloth. Use a second dry microfiber to buff off residue. Turtle Wax states the product will not leave high spots or hazing even if excess product is applied. For best results, clay or polish the surface first if oxidation or surface contamination is present.
