TL;DR No D3 splash mark verified from listing photos · the lens appears to carry a CE/EN 166 European marking, not ANSI Z87.1 D3. Indirect-vent construction is confirmed from the listing side photo. Without a verified D3 mark, this is unrated splash protection at a budget price point.
A sealed polycarbonate splash goggle with baffled indirect vents · the vent design physically blocks liquid from routing through the seal, which is the right construction for chemical splash protection. The manufacturer states ANSI Z87.1 and D3 compliance, but neither the D3 mark on the lens nor the Z87.1 mark on the frame is visible in available listing photos. No replacement-lens program exists. No community data on anti-fog durability under sustained exertion or respirator-stacking is available from accessible sources.
Consider it only as a short-session interim option if you need physical splash occlusion and a verified D3 option is unavailable. Note: ~4-week shipping from a third-party seller, and it is listed as an Amazon add-on item (may require a qualifying cart total to buy standalone). Skip it for overhead acid spray, brake cleaner in wheel wells, or sustained respirator-stacked work.
Passive plastic assembly · no chemical exposure from wearing it. Mixed-material construction (polycarbonate, foam, elastic) lands in landfill at end of life.
