Does the DEWALT DCL050 come with a battery?▾

No. The DCL050 is a bare tool · it includes only the work light. Any DEWALT 20V MAX battery (DCB181/182/183/184/185/187/189 or FLEXVOLT in 20V MAX mode) powers it. Battery and charger are sold separately.

How long does the DCL050 run on a battery?▾

Approximately 3 hours at full output (1,000 lumens) with a 4.0Ah 20V MAX battery, per toolguyd.com testing. Runtime at low output (300 lumens) is approximately 17 hours on the same pack. Actual runtime scales with battery Ah rating.

Does the DCL050 have a magnetic base?▾

No. The DCL050 mounts via a telescoping 360-degree rotating hook that fits materials up to 2 inches in diameter. There is no magnetic base. For upside-down or under-vehicle mounting, a hook attachment point is required.

Is the DEWALT DCL050 UL-listed?▾

No independent US safety certification (UL or ETL) was confirmed for the DCL050 as of 2026-05-22. A CE Declaration of Conformity for EU standards is confirmed. The health score reflects the CE-only deduction.
