CarCareTruth's Analysis
Last reviewed May 28, 2026
TL;DR The manufacturer claims PPF compatibility, but no independent installer data confirming film safety on any named PPF brand has been located — treat the claim as plausible but unverified. On ceramic-coated paint, community backing is strong: 4.7 stars across 500 reviews with gloss depth and beading as the top praised attributes.
What it is and how it performs
Reload 2.0 is a spray-and-wipe sealant with a silica-based hydrophobic booster. Spray onto a clean panel, wait 30–60 seconds, wipe off with a fresh microfiber face per panel, then buff dry. Apply in shade — reviewers confirm streaking in direct sun; spraying onto the towel rather than the surface helps control overspray. Cleans fingerprints, fresh water spots, and light dust in one pass. Community beading refresh on ceramic-coated paint runs four to eight weeks on daily drivers; the manufacturer's "up to 3 months" claim is a 1.5–2x overstatement. All available evidence is on ceramic-coated paint — no PPF-specific performance data exists.
Who should buy this — and who should skip it
Best for ceramic-coating owners refreshing beading and gloss between washes, especially in the CQuartz ecosystem. PPF owners may find it fine given the benign chemistry, but there is no installer-confirmed track record on any named film brand. If you have premium self-healing film, prioritize products with independent long-term installer data on your specific film first.
Safety and environmental impact
WARNING signal word from H373 — a chronic repeated-exposure target-organ concern, not an acute hazard during a normal wipe-down. Eyes and skin tiers are situational (spray mist and prolonged contact). No respiratory irritation code at mixture level; lungs tier is situational for enclosed or extended use. No PFAS, no asthmagen. Leave-on formula moderates environmental footprint; four ingredients carry substance-level aquatic hazard classifications.

Phenomenal Topper – Slick, Durable, and Visibly Effective
I applied CarPro Reload 2.0 after a single coat of Adam’s Graphene Ceramic Coating Advanced, and the results blew me away. Reload instantly made the surface exceptionally slick, so much so that pollen and dust just don’t stick anymore. What really impressed me is how amazing the car looks after a good rainfall, it beads water beautifully and almost looks freshly detailed without touching it. It’s easily the best ceramic topper I’ve used. Long-lasting, easy to apply, and visually stunning. Highly recommended.
