Simple Green is a product line of Sunshine Makers, Inc., a Huntington Beach, California company founded in 1975. The brand built its reputation on a concentrated, biodegradable all-purpose cleaner that positioned itself as a safer alternative to petroleum-based solvents and caustic industrial degreasers. The flagship Industrial Cleaner & Degreaser carries EPA Safer Choice recognition, which requires independent review of every ingredient for human health and environmental safety — one of the few cleaning brands to earn this designation.
