Qwix Mix

Switch to Ranked View →
Qwix Mix was founded in 2001 by Harlan Anderson in Madison, South Dakota. The company's core product is a biodegradable surfactant concentrate that end-users mix with tap water — and optionally methanol — to produce windshield washer fluid on-site. The "On Tap" system is designed primarily for fleet accounts, quick-lube shops, and car dealerships that want to eliminate the cost and plastic waste of pre-mixed gallons. The 1-gallon consumer concentrate sold on Amazon produces up to 500 gallons of working fluid, making it one of the most concentrated washer fluid products in the market. The formula is alcohol-free (no methanol, no ethanol) — freeze protection requires the user to add methanol separately at the mixing ratios shown on the label.
