PIAA

PIAA Corporation is a Japanese automotive lighting and wiper manufacturer founded in 1963 and headquartered in Tokyo. The brand is best known in the US aftermarket for two product families: high-output driving and fog lamps, and silicone-element wiper blades. PIAA Silicone wipers — including the Aero Vogue, Super Silicone, Si-Tech, and Super Sport lines — are differentiated by a silicone rubber blade element rather than the EPDM or natural rubber compounds used in most competing aftermarket blades. PIAA markets a "Silicone Advantage" claim of approximately 2x the service life of conventional rubber wipers and a water-beading effect that the silicone element transfers to the windshield with each pass. PIAA also supplies OEM equipment to Japanese vehicle manufacturers and operates a US distribution arm (PIAA Corporation USA, headquartered in Portland, Oregon). The brand's products are sold through Amazon, AutoZone, Advance Auto, JEGS, Summit Racing, and direct from piaa.com.
