Odyssey Battery

Odyssey Battery is a division of EnerSys, the industrial battery company that supplies batteries for defense, aerospace, and telecommunications applications worldwide. The Odyssey consumer and motorsports line carries the same TPPL (thin-plate pure lead) AGM construction developed for military and aviation use: plates are manufactured from pure lead (not the lead alloy used in standard AGM), which allows thinner plates, more plates per unit volume, more plate surface area, and therefore higher CCA and deeper-cycle tolerance than a standard AGM of the same physical size.

The product line is segmented by BCI group size and application: Extreme Series (pure starting performance, Group 34/35/48/65 and others), PC Series (Extreme Series with terminals — the "Performance Classic" designation), and Drycell Series (lighter-weight motorsports and show-car applications). The 35-PC1400T is the Group 35 SKU in the PC Series, sharing the TPPL construction of the Extreme Series.

Odyssey batteries are manufactured at EnerSys facilities in Reading, Pennsylvania. The 4-year full-replacement warranty (no pro-rata) is one of the longest no-catch warranties in the consumer automotive battery category.
