ENEOS

ENEOS traces to Nippon Oil (founded 1888) and became ENEOS Corporation after the 2010 merger with Japan Energy. It is Japan's largest integrated energy company and a major global base-oil producer. The US lubricants business, headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, focuses on fluids engineered to match the service-fill specifications of Honda, Acura, Nissan, Toyota, and other Japanese-brand vehicles sold in North America, positioning its "Import Series" line as an alternative to dealer-sourced genuine fluid rather than a universal multi-vehicle product.

ENEOS is also a technical partner and supplier within the broader JX Nippon / ENEOS group that produces base oils used across the lubricants industry, giving the brand direct manufacturing depth rather than a purely blend-and-label model.
