E3 Spark Plugs is a Florida-based aftermarket spark plug manufacturer founded in 1997 after Pyrotek engineers spent two years testing edge-to-edge spark discharge theories and 48 electrode configurations. The result was the DiamondFIRE electrode, a patented ground electrode design that replaces the traditional J-wire with an open-face diamond-shaped geometry intended to improve flame-kernel propagation and combustion efficiency. E3 markets plugs for automotive, powersports, lawn and garden, and racing applications, and holds the designation of Official Spark Plug of NHRA drag racing.
