BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG) is a German automotive and motorcycle manufacturer headquartered in Munich, founded in 1916. BMW Group's genuine parts and fluids program covers OEM-specified maintenance chemicals, including engine oils, brake fluid, and coolant, engineered and approved for BMW, BMW i, and Rolls-Royce (a BMW Group marque) cooling systems and drivetrains. BMW publishes its coolant approvals under its own "BMW Lifetime Coolant" (BMW LC) specification family, with the retail parts catalog using product names like HT-12 for the current green Si-OAT formula.
