BlackVue

BlackVue is a brand of Pittasoft Co., Ltd., a South Korean company founded in 2007 and headquartered in Seoul. The company focuses exclusively on dash cameras and is best known for its cylindrical, low-profile design and early investment in cloud connectivity — the BlackVue Cloud platform predates most competitors' cloud features by several years. The DR series (DR750, DR900) runs from Full HD through 4K and spans front-only, dual-channel, and interior-IR configurations. Most BlackVue models use a built-in supercapacitor rather than a lithium-ion battery, which is a genuine differentiator for hot-climate durability. BlackVue products are distributed in the US under BlackVue North America and sold through specialty retailers (BlackboxMyCar, The Dash Cam Store) and Amazon. The DR900X series (released 2020) has largely been superseded by the DR900X Plus series.
