Final Volkswagen Beetle. PQ35 platform (shared with Mk5 Jetta). 2.5L I5 base / 1.8T / 2.0T (Turbo) / 2.0L TDI diesel. Convertible and coupe body styles. Discontinued in July 2019, ending decades of Beetle production globally. The Final Edition models (2019) are the collector picks.

Watch out: TDI cars affected by 2015 emissions buyback. 1.8T and 2.0T share standard EA888-family concerns. Convertible soft-top hydraulics and seal wear are typical for any older drop-top. Limited production after 2019 means future parts availability worth considering.
