Second-gen mid-engine MR2 on the W20 chassis. NA 3S-GE and turbocharged 3S-GTE (200+ hp factory) options. The car earned a reputation for snap-oversteer in early revisions; Toyota retuned the suspension across five revisions through 1997.

Watch out: Early-revision (Rev 1/2) tail-happy handling at the limit is well-documented; revisions through Rev 5 progressively addressed it. 3S-GTE timing belt service is a known maintenance milestone — these engines are interference.
