Saturn Sky Kappa Platform

2007–2010 · Kappa · convertible

Two-door roadster on GM's Kappa platform — sibling to the Pontiac Solstice with a softer, more luxurious design language. Base Sky used the 2.4L Ecotec LE5 (177 hp); the Sky Red Line ran the 2.0L turbo LNF (260 hp) — the same engine family later seen in the Cobalt SS and HHR SS. Production ended with Saturn's shutdown.

Watch out: LNF turbo-engine timing-chain stretch is the documented major issue at high mileage. Soft-top mechanism is fiddly and slow to operate. Trunk space with the top down is famously near-zero. Parts are now Pontiac Solstice cross-references — orphaned brand reality.
