Saturn Aura Epsilon Platform

2007–2009 · Epsilon · sedan

Saturn's last mid-size sedan, sharing the GM Epsilon platform with the Chevy Malibu and Pontiac G6. Won Motor Trend Car of the Year in 2007 — a brief high before the Saturn shutdown. US engines included the 2.4L Ecotec, 3.5L V6, and 3.6L LY7 V6. Production ended October 2009.

Watch out: 3.6L LY7 high-feature V6 timing-chain failures are the defining mechanical issue (shared with Cadillac CTS, Acadia, Enclave, others of that era). Orphaned-brand parts availability is degrading — Pontiac G6 and Malibu equivalents help.
