Mini Countryman 2nd Generation (F60)

Second-generation Countryman on the BMW UKL2 platform — shared with BMW X1 F48. Larger than R60. BMW B-series engines: B38 three-cylinder (base) and B48 four-cylinder (Cooper S, JCW). Countryman SE ALL4 was a plug-in hybrid (12 kWh battery, ~17 mile electric range). Far more refined and reliable than the R60.

Watch out: Similar B-series engine watch-outs to F56 Cooper (carbon buildup, water pump). Plug-in SE ALL4: high-voltage battery long-term degradation, charge-port wear, and 12V battery early failures are typical for the era. Otherwise reliability significantly better than R60.
