The X247 GLB is Mercedes-Benz's compact entry SUV, launched for the 2020 model year on the front-wheel-drive-based MFA2 platform shared with the A-Class and GLA. US trims include the GLB 250 (M260 turbo four) and AMG GLB 35 (uprated M260). It is the smallest Mercedes SUV to offer an optional third row.
Watch out: Too new for a settled long-term failure picture. Owner reports across the MFA2 family include MBUX software complaints, occasional 8G-DCT shift refinement issues, and the routine concerns of any turbocharged direct-injection four (carbon buildup on intake valves over time).
