Mercedes's flagship EV sedan, on the EVA (Electric Vehicle Architecture) platform. Unveiled April 2021; sales began September 2021 in Germany, Q4 2021 in the US (MY2022). 107.8 kWh battery, RWD (EQS 450+) or AWD (EQS 580 4MATIC), with AMG EQS 53 (~750 hp) at the top. Distinctive single-arc 'one-bow' silhouette. MBUX Hyperscreen dashboard optional.

Watch out: Early-MY 12-volt battery management software issues (false low-voltage warnings, intermittent module wake-up) — addressed via OTA updates; verify firmware level on used cars. Hyperscreen glass is expensive to replace if damaged. Rear-axle steering and air suspension are standard expensive maintenance items longer-term.
