Coupe is C190; Roadster is R190. M178 4.0L biturbo V8 — 462 hp base, 503 in GT S, 550 in GT C, 577 in GT R, 720 in the Black Series. Transaxle layout (engine front-mid, transmission at rear axle) for 47/53 weight balance. The Black Series (215 produced for the US) is the all-time chart-topper. Production ran 2015-2021 (coupe), with special variants extending through 2023.

Watch out: Carbon ceramic brake rotors (optioned) wear and replacement cost is exotic-car level. M178 transaxle: rare but documented torque-tube bearing failure on hard-driven cars. Soft-top hydraulics on roadsters.
