Third-gen LX (LX 600) is the US-market sibling of the global Land Cruiser 300. TNGA-F body-on-frame platform, 3.4L V35A-FTS twin-turbo V6 (409 hp) replacing the 5.7L V8, 10-speed automatic, full-time 4WD. F-Sport and Ultra Luxury (four-seat) trims target very different buyers. The LX 700h hybrid joined for 2026.

Watch out: Owner reports of early-build infotainment quirks and brake-rotor warpage under heavy use. The V35A twin-turbo V6 is a newer engine family — long-term durability data is still thin compared to the 3UR-FE V8 it replaced.
