Lexus IS F USE20

2008–2014 · USE20 · sedan

First Lexus F-car. 5.0L 2UR-GSE V8 making 416 hp and 371 lb-ft, paired with an 8-speed automatic (no manual was offered). Built on the second-gen IS chassis but with widened fenders and bespoke suspension. The 2UR engine block went on to power the LC500.

Watch out: Stretched timing chains and rod-bearing wear at very high mileage on hard-driven examples — the 2UR is generally robust but not bulletproof. Brembo brakes consume rotors quickly. Watch for aftermarket tunes that exceeded factory fuel-system headroom.
