Fourth-generation Discovery, sold as 'LR4' in North America — same L319 platform as LR3 but heavily updated. 5.0L AJ133 V8 (2010-2013 in US) / 3.0L supercharged V6 (2014+ in US, replaced the V8 for fuel-economy reasons). Three-row seating standard. Terrain Response, air suspension, and serious off-road credentials retained. The last 'square-shaped Discovery.'

Watch out: 5.0L AJ133 V8 (2010-2013): timing-chain tensioner wear at high mileage is the documented pattern. 3.0L SC V6 (2014+): supercharger snout-bearing wear and timing-chain concerns at high mileage. Air-suspension compressor wear universal. ZF 8-speed (2014+) is well regarded — fluid service every 60k miles.
