Lamborghini's first SUV since the LM002 (1986-1993) and the brand's first 5-door. Volkswagen MLB Evo platform — shares its bones with Porsche Cayenne, Bentley Bentayga, Audi Q7/Q8. 4.0L twin-turbo V8 (650 hp base, 657 hp Performante, 666 hp S). Performante (2022+) adds carbon body parts and aero. The Urus is the volume model that funds the rest of the Lamborghini lineup.

Watch out: Carbon-ceramic brake life on a 5,000+ lb vehicle is the cost-of-ownership headline — replacement is six-figure if neglected. Air suspension reliability mirrors Cayenne/Bentayga history (compressor and bag failures around 60-80k mi). VW-group platform means easier independent service than other Lambos, but specialty parts still command Lamborghini pricing.
