Kia Stinger CK (1st and only generation)

Hyundai-Kia's first serious RWD sport fastback sedan. Base trim used the 2.0L Theta II turbo (255 hp); GT trim used the 3.3L Lambda II twin-turbo V6 (365 hp). RWD standard, AWD optional on both engines. Tuned at the Nurburgring under former BMW M chief Albert Biermann. Brembos and Michelin Pilots on the GT. Discontinued April 2023 as Kia shifted to EV development. Production ended after the 2023 model year.

Watch out: REAL ISSUE: The 3.3L Lambda II twin-turbo had documented catalytic converter clogging and cylinder 4/5 misfire patterns at higher mileage. The 2.0T Theta II is part of the broader Hyundai-Kia rod-bearing recall pattern. Rear differential bushing wear is documented past 50k miles. Buy a well-maintained GT2 or none at all.
