Honda del Sol EG/EH (Civic del Sol)

Civic del Sol — 'Civic' branding dropped from 1995 onward. Lift-off targa roof (not motorized in US trims). US engine lineup: D15B7 (S), D16Z6 SOHC VTEC (Si, 125 hp), and the holy-grail B16A3 DOHC VTEC (VTEC trim, EH6 chassis, 160 hp, 1994-97). Marketed as the CRX replacement but heavier and slower than its predecessor.

Watch out: Targa-roof seal failures and water intrusion are universal — every del Sol leaks somewhere by now. B16A3 VTEC cars carry massive premiums; verify VIN and authenticity vs. swap. Rust around the rear quarter and trunk seam is common.
