Honda Civic Si 9th Generation Si

2012–2015 · FB6/FG4 · sedan

The 9th-gen Si moved to the K24Z7 2.4L i-VTEC making 201hp at launch and 205hp from 2014 with more torque (170 lb-ft) than the previous K20. Six-speed manual only, helical LSD standard, sedan and coupe in the US. The lower redline (7000 rpm) and earlier VTEC engagement divided enthusiasts at launch but the chassis grew on owners over time.

Watch out: Pre-refresh 2012 cars caught the same critic-panned interior and noise complaints as the base 9th-gen Civic. The 2013 refresh fixed the worst of it. Si-specific issues are minor; the K24Z7 is durable.
